989 exhibitors and over 23,800 trade visitors came to Shanghai
Impressive record results for the 20th BEIJING ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING: 989 exhibitors presented their products and services at Asia's most important trade fair for welding, cutting and coating technology. 23,873 trade visitors informed themselves and placed orders on this significant trade platform - which was also a new best result.
"With this the BEIJING ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING has once again confirmed its pole position directly behind the Essen-based world leading fair SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN," agreed Oliver P. Kuhrt, Manager of Messe Essen, and Dr.-Ing. Roland Boecking, Manager of DVS – Deutscher Verband für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren e.V. (German industry association for welding and associated technology). "Products in the fields of welding, cutting and joining are in great demand in China. Our fair offers the trade optimum conditions for exploiting the potential in this future market." The BEIJING ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING was once again the result of cooperation between Messe Essen, the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and the DVS.
An important platform for international companies
Exhibitors from 28 countries took the opportunity to present their innovations in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. This included both plants and equipment, together with measurement technology and systems for computer-supported production. On over 80,000 square metres of exhibition floor space the trade visitors were able to gain an overview of the new products and services in the trade. At numerous shared international stands companies provided compact information about their services. On the shared stand of the Federal Republic of Germany, which was once again supported by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs, 31 manufacturers presented their 'Made in Germany' products and services.
Exchange of experiences between experts was emphasised at the BEIJING ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING. Experts passed on their knowledge in numerous conferences and presentations - including the topics of 'highly efficient welding technology' and 'welding patents.'
The next BEIJING ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING will take place from 14 to 17 July 2016 in Beijing.
